Is a car essentialEven if a vehicle is advised, it is not mandatory to have a car. However the island of Cephalonia has so many beautiful, surprising and enchanting places that it would be a pity not to discover it. You could anyway enjoy your stay without a car for the following reasons: - 200 meters from the villas you will find a tavern / snack bar / bar run by Greek villagers. - The nearest beach (Kaminia beach) is 1400 meters from the villas and it is possible to walk there. (The beach of Kaminia extends to the south by the beach of Mouda where you can enjoy the sun in peace). The nearest shops are 3 kms away, but you can ask us to do some shopping which will be at your disposal in the villa at your arrival. A good alternative may be to rent a bike.
